Study on virtual zero power of maglev left ventricular assist device

چکیده

A virtual zero power (VZP) method was used to reduce the consumption of hybrid magnetic bearings (HMBs) in left ventricular assist devices (LVADs). The mathematics HMB system LVAD established, and stability analyzed with a proportional-derivative (PD) controller. unbalanced forces on rotor can be identified by output voltage PD controller, together negative stiffness permanent magnet, suspended at point where rotor’s reluctant force is minimum lower consumption. Experiments were conducted measure bearing different rotational speeds, trajectories demonstrated. results showed using VZP consumed 0.28 W averagely 1000-4000 rpm LVAD.
